  • What makes relationships work?
  • Why do we relate well to some people and yet struggle with others?
  • How can we build more effective relationships at work?

Workshop Purpose

This one day workshop explores Relationship Awareness Theory and it's application to how we interact with others at work.

Relationship Awareness Theory is based on the assumption that every human being interacts with others in ways that are intended to help him or her feel good about himself or herself as a person.

The purpose of this workshop is to help you explore the implications of this assumption in understanding yourself, in understanding others, and in understanding how you can build more effective relationships at work.

Relationship Awareness is a motivational theory, which addresses the motives behind our everyday behaviour when we are relating to others. It is non-judgemental - it identifies a person's strengths in relating to others and suggests how those strengths may be used to improve relationships with others. As part of the workshop we also look at how people deal with conflict and the implications of their different strategies on team performance.

Workshop Style

The workshop is highly interactive and uses a process of self-discovery to explore the theory. By discussing the insights with other participants, you can gain a greater awareness of how to relate effectively to others.
